Few marketers believe single customer view is achievable – report

Marketers agree that achieving a single or holistic view of the customer is vital to improving ROI and better customer experiences, yet just 6% of marketing professionals believe they are able to achieve it. Marigold Engage by Sailthru’s CEO, Neil Capel, recently wrote that single customer view (SCV) was “the only method to overcome data silos perpetuated by the many channels through which consumers can engage with a brand and make purchases”, and that brands striving for a SCV were more likely to deliver a better personalised experience to customers across channels.
