Sailthru Welcomes Vuture to the CM Group Family of Brands

Back in January, Sailthru was acquired by CM Group, a family of marketing technology companies that includes Campaign Monitor, Delivra, Emma and Liveclicker. We’re thrilled to welcome cross-channel marketing platform Vuture to the family.

Vuture’s platform goes beyond email marketing and automation, offering technology for event management, content management, payments, alumni tracking, and surveys. The majority of Vuture’s 400 customers are in the legal and professional services industries, including 65% of the UK’s top 100 law firms. This diverse set of offerings is part of what drew CM Group to Vuture. The London-based platform also boasts a personalized approach to customer relationships, which trickles down to the relationships with their customers. For example, using Vuture’s automated campaigns for events and email marketing helped global legal firm Winstead become 50% more efficient. In turn, this enabled the firm to spend more time supporting its attorneys and clients. That personalized service is also a hallmark of CM Group, contributing to every brand’s strong retention rates.

In conjunction with the acquisition, CM Group completed a $410 million financing, providing capital for future acquisitions to accelerate growth and provide a technology solution to meet the needs of every marketer.

“There are more than 7,000 martech companies in the space today, making it nearly impossible for marketers to navigate the technology-buying process with confidence,” says Wellford Dillard, CEO of CM Group, noting that the company’s portfolio approach makes it easier to match customers with the perfect platform for their brands. “As our customers grow, this enables them to move between platforms, while maintaining a consistent service experience throughout — something that only CM Group offers. With its focus on professional services, high customer satisfaction, and product breadth, Vuture is a perfect fit.”

Vuture CEO David Brady adds, “As part of the CM Group family of brands, our organization will be able to expand its reach and have the opportunity to offer our technology to more marketers globally, alongside other innovative technologies.”

Personalization has never been more popular - or more peddled. With thousands of marketing technology vendors to choose from, marketers may be tempted to simply “add on” personalization to their ESP. But doing so could result in siloed data, half-baked personalization, and wasted money.
