Link: Remembering Bill Moggridge 1943-2012, Inventor of the First Laptop Computer.
We are saddened by the recent loss of Bill Moggridge, who was the inventor of the first ever laptop, The GRiD Compass computer. On top of being an inventor, Moggridge was an innovator of design as he was appointed director Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and was co-founder of the company Ideo, a design firm.
There is no question how Moggridge’s inventions have impacted our daily lives. We wanted to re-blog this article from Fast Company Design, to share what others have experienced with Moggridge in terms of his brilliance, life, and love of design.
