It takes a village to raise a startup. Community support, from funding to recruiting to expert advice, is essential to getting an idea off the ground. That goes double in New York City — known equally for its amazing opportunities and its overwhelming crowds. I’ve lived here 10 years, and I’ve always been inspired by the energy and the heartbeat of the NYC tech community.

Sailthru proudly supports The New York City Media Lab, an organization dedicated to inspiring job growth and innovation in the media and technology fields by helping New York City universities and brands work together. They’re a major advocate for incoming technological and creative talent in the Big Apple, and we’re a huge believer in their mission.

I’m pleased to announce I’ll be speaking at their upcoming event, Personalizationpalooza, which brings together personalization and marketing experts to discuss developing technologies, the state of the industry, and new innovations ahead.

I’ll be on the “View from the Startup Community” panel with great company from Parse.ly, Agolo and Gravity. We’ll be discussing what types of technologies are in our own labs, what’s already emerged (like our Sightlines predictive product) and what’s catching on the fastest. We’ll talk about what companies can do to make their brand experience more immersive through personalization, and our visions for the future of the industry.

If you’re in New York City, I hope you’ll join me at Personalizationpalooza the morning of February 26th. You can find more details about the event and apply for a pass here.
