In case you missed it, there was a great article from Christine Perkett in Forbes this month on the growing opportunities for women in tech. Perkett focused the discussion not just on the shift of more women entering the tech field but on the types of roles they are filling from engineering to marketing and the level of value that we place on these roles.

In fact, our own Aubrey Sabala was interviewed, ”True, the statistics show that there are more men than women working in this field, but I think the more interesting and relevant topic is more around changing the conversation rather than changing the ratio.”

Aubrey who has worked at tech companies like Digg, Facebook, AOL and Google before joining Marigold Engage by Sailthru, says that although yes, she has seen her fair share of teams and boards comprised entirely of men, she feels like this is shifting.
