Neil Capel delivered a keynote at the dynamic CCA wireless convention at the Wynn, Las Vegas on Sept 26. Neil spoke about the relevance of Big Data for marketers and what it means for wireless carriers and the end consumer.
For consumers, mobile platforms are the fastest growing points of access to the web. According to a recent Cisco report, mobile data traffic will grow by 18,000% in the next four years and smartphone adoption is rapidly expanding. As Neil discussed “the line between mobile and non-mobile is going to blur.” Consumers are swiftly adopting smartphones and tablets to engage on the web and are leaving their desktops behind. For companies and wireless carriers, there is real opportunity to build better brand relationships with customers by understanding how users prefer to access their communications.
